We first started dreaming of growing hemp here in Virginia over a decade ago. Obviously, there were a few roadblocks to navigate first – like being illegal on both here in Virginia & at the Federal level. Thanks to great work by Hemp Heroes like Thomas Massie & Rand Paul, the first crack in hemp prohibition was put into place in the 2014 US Farm Bill. That continued with further progress in the 2018 Farm Bill, and the creation of a hemp research program here in Virginia. Finally, in 2019, the first commercial hemp legislation was signed into law allowing farmers here in the Commonwealth to restore and revitalize our strong hemp heritage here in Virginia. From Washington & Madison growing hemp on their land, to Jefferson writing the original drafts of the Declaration of Independence on hemp paper, Virginia has a proud tradition of sustainable agriculture and hemp manufacturing that we are proud to be at the forefront of helping to restore.

Our company is headquartered in the shadow of Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, and our plants are in the shadow of Monticello. We look forward to providing you with Good Hemp, Grown Well, while helping landowners be able to keep land that has been in their families for generations.
